Our Admissions Process
Our admissions approach is a multi-phase process designed to accomplish two major tasks. First and
foremost, we want to provide you with all the information you need to make intelligent decisions about
the career field of your choice, the training we offer and if Crum's is the right place for you to get your
training. Secondly, we want to insure that you are right for Crum's and cosmetology industry related
career fields. Simply put, we want to make sure that a partnership between you as a student and
Crum's as an education provider is a match.
Step 1: Request Information
Your first step on your adventure with Crum's Beauty College is simply to request some initial
information. The information we send you will outline our program, give you an idea of how long you will
be in school and provide you with some initial info about career opportunities. You can accomplish this
task online and before leaving our site or by contacting our admissions office.
Step 2: Schedule an Admissions Appointment
School is a big decision and certainly a brochure about our college will not provide all the information
you need to make good choices. During your visit to our campus, you can expect to receive a tour of
our facilities, meet our staff and receive any and all information you need to make a decisions about
Crum's, the education we offer and Cosmetology related career fields.
Step 3: Interview and Apply for Admission
Our admission interview is similar to a job interview. We simply want to make sure that you are sincere
about making the sacrifices training requires and that this industry is right for you. If everything goes
okay during the interview, we will help you complete your application for admissions. Submission of a
$100 Application fee would be required at this time.
Step 4: Financial Aid
The purpose of this step in the process is to help determine if school is affordable for you. A meeting
with our financial aid office will determine your eligibility for government financial aid, scholarships
and other forms of tuition financing. While we will certainly cover the costs of fees, tuition and
supplies during your initial visit with admissions, you will not have an accurate idea of how much your
course will cost you out-of-pocket (if any) until you meet with our financial aid office. Your admissions
representative shall help you establish a time and date to meet with our Financial Aid office once you
complete your Application for Admission.
Step 5: Acceptance
Once your application and financial aid appointments are completed, our acceptance board shall
review your application. A letter from the board shall indicate denial or your acceptance into school
for a specific start date. If for some reason your application is denied, an explanation shall be
provided in writing.
Step 6: Orientation
Crum's provides a mandatory orientation the week prior to school starting. The purpose of this
orientation is to prepare you for the first day of school, give you a chance to meet your fellow
classmates and help establish mutual expectations.
Final Step: First Day of Class
Congratulations on your acceptance and welcome to Crum's Beauty College!
