What's the difference between Title IV Funding and using the Sallie Mae Career Loan?

The bottom line is that you save thousands of dollars in interest charges by taking advantage of your eligibility
of Title IV funding.  The SLM Career Loan charges an interest rate of up to 6% above the prime lending rate.
Currently you would pay up to 12.25% on this loan and interest charges accrue immediately.  Here's a simple
cost comparison using the example that the student qualifies for Title IV funding:

In this scenario the student saves almost $20,000 in interest payments for financing their education by taking
advantage of their eligibility for Title IV funding.  An option offered only through attending Crum's Beauty
College.  Additionally, loan payments are about the same amount but the Crum's student pays their loans off in
5 years compared to 15 it would take to pay off an SLM Career loan with the same monthly payment.
